Waterfield Farm was started in 1992 and is one of the oldest suppliers to retail customers in Kwazulu Natal.

The farm specializes in the production of top quality leaf vegetables, producing twelve different types of lettuce, table celery, spinach as well as a range of fresh herbs. Seedlings are either produced on site or bought in from a local nursery. The plants are planted in gravel hydroponic growing beds. These beds provide perfect, protected growing conditions for top quality vegetables. The product is hand picked early in the morning and delivered to the on-site packing facility.

All aspects of agricultural production are controlled and measured in accordance with Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), for which the farm is audited and certified annually, based on a global certification standard.
